The Senar Armed Forces (Senar: სენარის შეიარაღებული ძალები, Senaris Sheiaraghebuli Dzalebi) are the military forces of Senarwa. The Armed Forces consist of the Air Force, Army, and Navy.
History
The Senar Armed Forces was formed in 1919 following the dissolution of the Senar-Narulian Empire, which backed the Khakmadoy government during the First Great War. The early Senar Armed Forces recieved equipment from Gagium and other Coalition Powers in order to prevent annexation from the more powerful Narulian state.
During the Third Great War, Senarwa was invaded by Gagium, prompting the complete mobilization of the Armed Forces. After the Gagian capture of Agurik early into the invasion, the Senar Armed Forces were successful in forcing the Gagian and Narulian armies into a stalemate up until 1980, where they began to gain the upper hand due to extensive support from Greater Niagara and The Furbish Islands. Following the failed attempt to capture Paluri, Gagian forces were greatly weakened and Narulia slowly began to withdraw forces from the invasion. Senarwa continued to keep a large amount of its forces mobilized after the Zuhalurra Armistice out of fear of renewed hostilities with Narulia. This distrust would culminate in the Senar-Narulian War of 1992, which led to ~6,000 deaths before a ceasefire was declared five months after hostilities began.
The modern Senar Armed Forces remains one of the more powerful armed forces in the Gulf of Atily. Senarwa spends nearly 5% of its GDP on defense spending, the third-highest in the region. Senarwa is accused of providing weapons and training to Aghankir and providing support in the Aghan-Vadurzilian Conflict.
