Valteo Motor Group (Valkean: Valteo Moottoriyhtiö Oyj), is a Valkean multinational automotive corporation that is headquartered in Källälivi, Valkea. They design and manufacture automobiles, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, and engines, along with other related services. It is the largest Valkean automobile manufacturer and one of the largest in Astyria.

Valteo Motor Group sells passenger cars under the Juhola, Lenora, Lehtonen, and Fulmen brands, motorcycles under the Lehtonen and Sinocara brands, and commercial vehicles under the Valteo Trucks brand.

History

Valteo Motor Group's origins date back to 1933 with the debut of the Valteo VA-1, a prototype passenger car with the aim of being affordable, basic, and easy to maintain. However, the project was eventually transferred to the then newly-acquired Lehtonen brand, becoming the basis for the L12. Valteo would go on to manufacture cars under the Lehtonen and Vatanen brands, with the Valteo name itself appearing on trucks and buses.

In 1940, Valteo created an automotive department called Valteo Motor Cars, which would oversee the operations of its auto brands. It expanded its portfolio by acquiring Kotka in 1943 and Järvinen in 1946.
