Composed by Frederico Auguistin, an avid republican, for the April coup of 1954, the hym has been the oficial anthem f the Federation of Armosa since the establishment of the Federal Republic. Used as the marching song of the republican rebellion and consequent coup of April 1954, in Puerto, it was adopted as the national anthem of the newborn Republic in 1955, replacing "Marchamos Juntos" (We march Together), the anthem of the deposed military government.
