Balaton people

The Balaton people (Ahrah'koonic: XXX) are the largest ethnic group within The Empire. The Balaton people are apart of the eponymous Balaton group, which is part of the Veszprémic Family. They are closely related to the Keszthely people and partially related to members of the Matyoic group. They originated from Balaton County, which has since been administratively divided into the North Balaton County and the South Balaton County. The Balaton were previously considered eligible members of Matyoism, but since the Balaton-Matyoic War, the Balaton people have been banned from converting or being able to participate in authentic Matyoic rituals.
