The HAA Malhotra is the lead ship in its class of two aircraft carriers in active service within the Haduastan Navy. The Malhotra was commissioned and launched in 2008, replacing the HAA Vikrin which was subsequently decommissioned. The sister ship of the Malhotra, the HAA Gurnani, was commissioned in 2020.
