The ''' Abolition of the Northern Assembly Bill ''' was a proposed [[Parliament of Delamaria|Act of Parliament]] intended to abolish the [[Northern Assembly (Delamaria)|Northern assembly]]. The bill was defeated in its first reading, sparking internal strife within the [[Governing Coalition (Delamaria)|Governing Coalition]] and the [[Liberal Conservative Party (Delamaria)|Liberal Conservative Party]], resulting in the resignation of [[Prime Minister of Delamaria|Prime Minister]] [[Philip Campbell]]. The successive Prime Minister, [[Henry Nugent]], later proposed and passed an [[Devolution Reform Act (2024)|altered version of the bill]] after the [[2024 Delamarian General Election]], which retained the northern assembly, while reforming the role of [[States of Delamaria|state governments]].
