The '''Independent State of Min''' ({{wp|Yami language|Pala}}: ମେଳୟଂ ବଁବଂଗ ମୀନ ''(Mezayang) Banwang Min'') referred to in modern historiography as '''Alas Min''' (ଅଳସ ମୀନ, meaning "Wrong/False Min") was an [[Heavenly Xiaodongese Empire|Imperial Xiaodongese]] puppet state established in 1929. It was lead by then Princess of [[Devimaha]] [[Sirisarit]], sister of [[Cindong III, Lion Queen|Cindong III]], who claimed the [[Monarchy of Min|Lion Throne]] and taking the name [[Sibari, Lion Empress|Sibari]] II. It was later retaken by [[Min]] in the later phase of the [[Xiaodongese-Min War|Min-Xiaodong War]] in 1935. 

Alas Min today is regarded in [[Min]] as a collaborationist party, its foundation regarded as the "highest blasphemy" (''mayumbatuk'') and its ruler the "arch-heretic" (ମୟୁମ୍ବାଟୁକଲ ''mayumbatukal'').
