The Lec people are the predominant ethnic group in [[Lecistan]] and make up a significant minority in the bordering nation of [[Odissia]]. Due to a policy of colonization and assimilation between the 17th and 20th centuries by the [[Kingdom of Odissia]], it is only recently that Lecs, especially those in Odissia, have reemerged as a significant minority outside of Lecistan.
