Mariehamm Stadium, known as Stade de Mariehamm, is a retractable roof stadium with a retractable pitch in the western neighborhood of Porte-Lyon, Allieu, which serves as home for Porte-Lyon FC. The stadium was opened in 2012 for the 2012 Porte-Lyon World Cup, and as the first part of a city revitalization plan that culminated with the completion of Virtue-87. The capacity of 56,196 seats was increased to 68,000 seats for the World Cup. It also has 104 luxuriously designed skyboxes.
