The Afthonian Navy, officially referred to as the Afthonian Military Forces Navy (Gionan: Αφθονίακές Στρατιωτικές Δυνάμεις Ναυτικό; script: Afthoníakés Stratiotikés Dynámeis Naftikó, abbreviated as the ASDN), is the naval service branch of the Afthonian Military Forces (AMF) tasked to defend against naval threats, protect its trade routes and primary sea lines of communications. The navy often works in conjunction with the Afthonian Marine Corps as well as Matitime Security Agency to ensure that maritime security laws are enforced throughout Afthonia's territorial waters and claimed exclusive economic zone. Commissioned vessels of the navy are given the prefix APP standing for (Gionan: Αφθονίακές Πολεμικό πλοίο; script: Afthoníakés Polemikó ploío) which means Afthonain Warship.
