The General Staff of the Rojadavistan Armed Forces (Rojadavi: Fermandariya Giştî ya Hêzên Çekdar ên Rojadavistanê) is the highest staff organization in the armed Forces.
The Chief of the General Staff is the highest-ranking military officer who has operational command over the armed forces. They report to the Minister of National Defense. The chief is the only individual to possess the rank of Serleşker.
The General Staff are responsible for:
- To maintain the combat readiness of the armed forces for military operations
- To gather military intelligence
- To carry out military decisions made by the President
- To develop the strength and capability of the military
- To engage in military cooperation
- To manage the logistic services
The General Staff has full command of the Special Forces and they directly give them their orders.
