There exists relations between the Federate Union and Gasaria. Relations commenced when the Federate Union was established by the union of Tasia and Olegria. The Kingdom of Gasaria did not recognize the state, but was overthrown by the Provisional State of Gasaria which itself joined the federation. After the Slowdown, Gasaria gained independence in 1968 and relations were bilaterally formed. Relations were severed in 1976 after the Federate full-scale invasion. The war was costly on both sides and presented little territorial changes; however the Gasarian province of Solon was to be demilitarized and governed by the Organization of Nations backed Solon Civilian Council. This administration was overthrown by Gasarian paramilitaries who formed the Solon Military-Civilian Council. The Federate Union launched a lightning incursion into the region in 1994 and skirmishes initiated in the border. The Solon Terms were negotiated in an emergency regional meeting of the Eastern and Southern Cooperation Forum. The Solon war is protracted and ongoing.

Since 1980, the Federate Union and Gasaria have formed extensive trade ties. Gasarian ports remain instrumental to southeastern Federate markets.

The Federate Union and Gasaria share membership in the Organization of Nations, Eastern and Southern Cooperation Forum, Trade Org, University Systems, Association of Nations Against Violence, and the Democracy Forum.

Both countries use the Eastern script, have a majority Eastern Sanctity population, and use Eastern systems.
