Main symbol of Atramentic mages. It is a simplification of the a pact rune that is used to call a "Voice of Hate" to ones soul.

Atramenty, also known as the Old Magic, Magic of the Dark Star or Ķëx́erakśärr is a magic system that formed sometime around the 12th century a.C in Saakalistal. It is a form of realm magic that draws power from a realm known as Hate or "Ux́aqi". To use it one must initiate a communion with the other side and form pact with a being known as a "Voice of Hate", willing to choose the initiator as its "Body". Shamans generally partake in this magic system to allow them powers such as being able to see visions of the past and future, become one with the shadows or morph into another form but ever since the formation of the Mage's Round not too long after the formation of Saakalistal it has been functionally banned from being learned without proper permission and teaching from the Mage's Round due to the several drawbacks of initiating a pact with a Voice of Hate.

The current amount of Atramentic magi ranges around 15,000-21,000 with their lives being monitored by the Mage's Round in case one succumbs to the Voice or breaks the codes for which the Round has set for them.
