The Taxpayers Party (formerly known as the California Party of Taxpayers) is a far-right political party in New California. It was founded by Jake Gallant in 2039. It is one of the smallest registered political parties in New California, with only 17 thousand members. Its current chairman is Mark Gallant, the nephew of Jake Gallant. The party advocates for ideas such as a flat tax rate, laissez-faire capitalism, and ultranationalism, while also aligning itself in support of anti-immigration policies, including ones targeting the influx of Muslim immigrants and refugees.
