The Great River Valley Area is also home to four of Tarper's ten largest cities: Great River, Rordale, Tiliahort, and Frassine.

Whylsental was integrated into the federal republic on 12 September 2001, when it and another six provinces of the National Confederation declared independence and established the People's Alliance. Whylsental consists of the former Strander provinces of Great River, Whylsental, and Sylvat.
