Heimo Järvinen (13 March 1905 - 28 June 1992) was a Valkean engineer and industrialist. He is best known for founding the Sidus Motor Company, a Valkean manufacturer of volume passenger cars based in Vuornaa, Valkea.
Early life
Järvinen was born to Toivo Järvinen and Mirjami Järvinen (née Manninen) on 13 March 1905 in the town of Kuivasalmi; 31 kilometers southeast of Novika. His father was a farmer while his mother was a weaver. He is the third son among five children, his siblings being Arho Järvinen, Mikko Järvinen, Justiina Järvinen, and Kirsti Järvinen. He grew up with little formal education, dropping out of school at the age of 14.

Career
Järvinen Motor Company
With the backing of several investors in Southern Valkea, Järvinen founded the Järvinen Motor Company in a small workshop in Karkku District, Novika. The company invested in a sizable plot of land in Troihari, then a town on the outskirts of Novika, and built a factory on the site. From the Järvinen Motor Company manufactured luxury cars such as the Model 10 coupe, Model 20 sedan, and Model 22 roadster, as well as parts for the Valkean military. These early vehicles proved to be successful for the company.
As the company grew, differences between Järvinen and the board of management, as well as with his investors, began to appear. Järvinen desired to build people's cars for Valkeans, while his partners wanted to continue building cars that catered to the needs of the elite. This eventually led to Järvinen leaving the company in 1945.
