The Waisnorian-Malta Comino Gozoan-Carrelian-Alezian Alliance, or more known as the WMCA Alliance is a political and economic union that comprises Waisnor, Malta Comino Gozo, Carrelie, the Alezian Union, the Achaean Republic and Uskad. The alliance promotes intergovernmental cooperation and connects the members of the alliance through means of economic, political, educational, cultural, and sociocultural integration between its members.

The alliance's primary objective is to accelerate the progress of the world's advancement through peaceful and beneficial means. The six countries also signed an agreement towards a joint protection and a free travel and trade agreement.

Although the member states are not tied by an internal single market, the alliance has created standards of free trade between fellow members. With a total of around 1 billion people in all five members states, the alliance is one of the largest in the world.

History

Pre-founding : Alezia-Carrelie relations

Before the reunification of Alezia occurred, in 1989, the premier of North Alezia, Mukhlis Krasnaya Novogrody proposed an economic alliance between North Alezia and Carrelie in order to balance the world's economical balance between the West and the East as both North Alezia and Carrelie at the time were newly democratized countries as both just recently ousted dictatorships in each country. During this time, North Alezia and Carrelie had both started contact towards each other, especially culturally with Carrelie participating in the 1989 AleziRadio Festival of Songs, being the first foreign country to participate in the festival. North Alezia in the other hand, sent a few of their best students to Carrelie to study Europe. The country also broadcasted Carrelie Songfestival 1989 on AleziRadio Television Program 1 as a token of appreciation for the Carrelians' participation.

Pre-founding : Alezian - Malta Comino Gozoan Friendship Pact and Relations

Bilateral relations between the Alezian Union (or the then North Alezia before reunification) and the Kingdom of Malta Comino Gozo began 43 years ago on December 1, 1979. During this time, bilateral relations have proceeded well and without any obstacles. In the future, it is expected for both countries to explore various potentials of bilateral cooperation in various fields and common interests of various issues in international forums. The two countries share a concern on maritime issues, considering that both Malta Comino Gozo and the Alezian Union are archipelagic countries and state parties to the World Assembly Convention on the Law of the Sea (WACLOS) 1982. In a virtual meeting in 2002 both parties agreed on the importance of efforts to strengthen cooperation in the maritime field, specifically in sustainable sea empowerment, including through the Archipelagic and Island States (AIS) Forum.

Considering the large number of Alezian migrant workers who work in the shipping sector in Malta Comino Gozo, Alezian Union also raised the importance of cooperating with Alezian Union citizens in Malta Comino Gozo. So far the Government of the Alezian Union has established close cooperation, both with the Malta Comino Gozoan government and with labour organizations in MCG, to ensure the protection of its citizens. The two countries have got on incredibly well even after the reunification of the Alezian Union in 2021 when the countries signed a Friendship Pact. Both flagship airlines MCG air and Tayira Airlines operate weekly flights between the two countries.

Pre-founding : Alezian - Waisnorian Economic Partnership

After achieving independence, Waisnor established diplomatic relations with Alezian Union in 1992, but after that, they didn't have many relations between them. This changed in 1995, when President of Waisnor Yaroslav Kosinsky asked Premier of North Alezia Mukhlis Krasnaya Novogrody to make an agreement on the economic partnership between two countries. Kosinsky's main idea was opening Waisnor to the outside world, and so this treaty would be very helpful in this. Treaty on the economic partnership between Waisnor and North Alezia was signed on March 28th, 1995 and after that, both countries began trading with each other. Also, during 2000s North Alezia, especially Pyalivostok, saw a wave of Waisnorian immigrants, some settling there for a long time and establishing a big Waisnorian diaspora.

Pre-founding : Malta Comino Gozoan-Carrelie relations

Being the only monarchies in the alliance, Malta Comino Gozo and Carrelie have very strong historical and diplomatic ties. Alongside a mutual exchange of tourists each year, with each country being the other's most visited, there are also royal ties through Empress Edith-Marie's father, Luis Luca Rossi, who was King of Malta Comino Gozo from 1983 to 2019. The first diplomatic contacts between the two nations were established on 1 February 1644. Various sources show that the two nations were trade partners since the 17th century, and the nations continue to exchange goods to this day. Due to the size disparity between the two nations and the expansionist attitudes of the Carrelian nation during the period, there were substantial fears that Malta Comino Gozo would be subjugated under Carrelian rule, though despite these fears the island nation never lost its sovereignty. Today, the two nations maintain a strong diplomatic relationship and are still very much allied.

Pre-founding : Malta Comino Gozoan - Waisnor relations

Waisnor and Malta Comino Gozo started their diplomatic relationships in 1992 and at first, they didn't have big levels of cooperation going on. In 1990s, several documents were signed that allowed Waisnorian wood and fabrics to be exported to Malta Comino Gozo without big duty charges. In return, Malta Comino Gozoan traders were allowed to start their business branches in Waisnor, which quickly became popular with Waisnorians. Malta Comino Gozo also became one of the most popular tourist destinations for Waisnorians due to the warm climate and developed infrastructure. The biggest number of tourists before WMCA was in 2018 when 15.000 Waisnorians spent their vacations there. The two countries now share a very strong bond.

Pre-founding : Carrelie—Waisnor Relations

Ties between Waisnor and Carrelie were present even in 19th century, when Nikolay Svyatopolk-Mirsky, member of the most important Waisnorian noble family, married Queen Christina and sires two children from her, even though they were considered illegitimate. After government of self-proclaimed Waisnorian People's Republic was forced into the exile, Carrelie was the first transitional spot for them before they emigrated to Canada to stay there until 1993. After World War II and during Soviet period of Waisnorian history several anti-communist organizations offered help to Waisnorian dissidents emigate to Carrelie, but many of them were concerned by lack of democracy there and declined this offers, although several dissidents accepted their help, but simply for take away from Carrelie to other countries, like Canada, USA or UK. Carrelie was one of the first countries to recognise Waisnorian independence, and friendly relationships were built already in the 90's with treaty on friendly relations being signed in 1994. In further decades Carrelie offered help to Waisnor on several occasions, such as financial help to recover from Black Sunday coup d'état attempt. During late 00's - early 10's both nations experienced rise in tourism between them - Carrelie became one of the main countries for tourism for Waisnorians.
