Marquette is the Capital City of the Republic of Duquesne. It is home to Duquesne innovation, and is the most modern city in all of Duquesne. Established in 1847 by General Arthur Gerard.
The District Fédéral de Marquette is a federal district that contains the National Capitol of Duquesne, and houses the Presidential Mansion, the National Assembly, and the headquarters to each of Duquesne's federal departments. Sitting at the end of the river Charbonne, Marquette is a critical trade hub for ships traveling down the Charbonne river, as the river leads right into the Gulf de Dubois, giving Duquesne access to critical ocean trade.
