The EAV is a regionalist political party in Ebenaĵo. The EAV describes it self as a regionalist, agrarian and liberal political party.
History
The EAV was founded as a agrarian political party. In the early 1950s the EAV became more regionalist. At the party congress of 1956 regionalism became the official ideology of the EAV. In the regional elections of 1957 the EAV nearly doubled its elections results, from 5.4% to 10.1% of the votes. In the 1980s and 1990s the EAV became more and more social liberal. The new millennium was a real breakthrough for the party, the party grow from 14% of the votes in 1997 to 30.7% of the votes in 2005. In the 2017 regional election the party scored it best result ever and became the largest political party in the assembly of Ebenaĵo.
Factions
The major factions of the EAV are the Social Liberals and the Agrarians

- the Agrarians are the agrarian-centrist wing of the party
