The Lyoan Liberation Forces (abbreviated LLF) is a splinter faction of the Free Lyoan Army formed in 2014. The group was established after disagreements over the direction of the FLA and leadership caused some FLA commanders to leave the group. These dissidents founded the Lyoan Liberation Forces, and declared that they intended to continue resistance against the government. This has brought them into conflict with the group they broke off from, and occasionally the FLA's ally, the Army for the Rescue of Lyoa.
