The Lotion Empire, officially the Lotionese Empire is a nation located in Lotioia whilst holding possessions in Fusea, Usonea, Verusa, and Anea itself. It borders the nations of Malphe, Krinslo-Guyomartand, Daki, Meria, Minuda, the "Gold Bay", Penult, shares the maritime borders of Drusselstein and Oile Islands. The Lotion Empire has a populace of 368 million. With the massive land of Lotioia, and the colonial possessions, the Lotionese population has spiked up considerably these past few years. For Lotioia, there's a balance of the populace being dense around the coast and inland. For Lotionlandia, the area is mainly dense around the coastal regions of the country. For the Noblinksia Islands, the island thats the most dense in the region is the island of Makhya. In St.Alexander, the densist area is around the "horn" of the colony. The capital of the Lotionese Empire is Lotiongrad, while other major cities include the New Kishinev, New Mygrosk, the Leijing, Kabirsk, and Severoyzl. The Lotionese Empire spans multiple continents, four time zones, and numerous environments and land forms.

The first unified Lotionese state emerged in 1249 with the unification of all of Lotioia by the Kingdom of Kishinev. With the announcement of unification in the city of Lotiongrad. The nation quickly began widespread literacy programs and reforms, and expansions were made. Despite which, the kingdom had collapsed in 1460, with numerous Lotionese states appearing; Such as the Serfdom Council of Yakuvony, the Kingdom of Okhtsk, the Lotionese State, the Principality of Kishinev among others. The Lotionese State entirely relied upon trade with the other Lotioia state's for its economy and agriculture, and found itself at odds with the Serfdom Council of Yakuvony. But later would ally with the Serfdom to rival the expanding Kingdom of Okhtsk on their borders. Some expeditions would occur in the Lotionese State, and to find new trade routes to different nations and discover new lands, and they'd end up finding the Sawtooth people, and brought over Yakuvoniak culture towards the lands. The Lotionese Republic would later emerge, and would do even more expeditions, and expand more so then the now-Tsardom of Okhtsk. During the 1890s, there'd be a massive debacle for the Lotionese - The Yakuvoniak question. Which was a situation regarding the now defunct Serfdom Council of Yakuvony. There would be an agreement between both of the nations to have the Serfdom Council of Yakuvony be made an autonomous oblast within the Lotionese Republic. However, this agreement would be undone after the Recession War.

In 1910, a war between the Republic and the Tsardom of Okhtsk occurred, which was known as the "Novobrisk War." Eventually, the Republic would win and annex the rival Tsardom, but at a high cost of life. Eventually, in the 1930s, a massive economic decline would occur, and the nation would experience numerous secession attempts, in what would become known as the "Recession War." Eventually, the war would become a Republic victory in 1945. Reconstruction would last until 1955, until in 1956, where the 3 Day War occurred which became a decisive Republic victory occurred. The nation would continue to build up its military until it got couped in 2005, where the Republic of Yakuvony, a military dictatorship was formed. A civil war would eventually occur in 2007, between the Communists, the Tsarists, and even some Democrats were against the Republic. Eventually, the Republic would win, but later fall to a revolution, and the monarchists seized control of the nation, thus forming the Lotionese Empire. In 2018, the Lotionese Empire would start a rapid expansion, with the most recent one being the annexation of Zemlya der Shneese in 2019, during the Lotionese-Armenian War.

The nation has some levels of potential for a great power, and the nation is currently apart of Pax Havenica, and is currently an officer within the alliance. The Lotionese Empire additionally holds numerous military installments within a numerous amount of countries, and holds a pact between the nation of Triekru.

Etymology

The Lotionese Empire occupies the areas of Lotioia, Lotionlandia, St.Alexander, Noblinskia Islands, and Zemlya Der Schnees. The name of the Lotionese Empire derives from the Lotionese people, while the area of Lotioia also derived as the alternative name for the Lotionese people as well. Lotionlandia refers to the "Land of the Lotionese" as the area where the first Lotionese came from. St.Alexander derives to an important saint that came from the region. Noblinskia Islands refers to the people of Nobli who largely inhabit the island. While finally, Zemlya Der Schnees is refers to the "Land of Snow". The Yakuvoniak people make up a sizable majority of the nation, and the name of Yakuvony derives from an old myth that spawned from where a famous king of Yakuvony tossed his personal sword into the Yakuvoniak river.

The standard way to refer to a citizens of the Lotionese Empire is "Lotionese" in the Common Tongue, Los'onya in Yakuvoniak (Yakuvoniak: Лосьон).

History

Early History

The History of the Lotionese Empire begins with the history of the Anean Lotionese. The traditional start date for Lotionese History is 246 BC, for the formation of the Kingdom of Kishinev. The Kingdom of Kishinev was a loose set of tribes and numerous other duchies and principalities that were ruled by a single king, with its capital being Kishinev(Nowadays New Kishinev). During the years of 100 BC, there was a massive series of wars between the Kingdom and her neighbors; They were so numerous infact, that they were named the "Wars of the Plain" - As there were numerous wars, and they mainly were fought on the plains. The Kingdom of Kishinev would manage to win most wars, and become slowly more and more larger. The first Kishinev King - Nicknamed the starter of the Lotionese Monarchist movement was Alexander I Vyadimir Luchok. Prior to his rule, the Kingdom was ruled by a series of councils. He'd lead the Kingdom of Kishinev from 106 BC to 45 BC. Under his rule, the establishment of rule by the Luchok dynasty was made apparent, numerous reforms would be made to merge the duchies and principalities within the Kingdom of Kishinev. Eventually this would be successful by 76 BC, and the establishment of a single monarch to rule the throne was made. The Luchok dynasty was now in full power for some time.

In 55 BC, there was the Religious Question, an event in Lotionese history where the Kingdom of Kishinev had to decide what religion the nation was going to follow. Prior to which, it was entirely left undecided, and had it be left to be decided by its principality, and duchies within it. Despite that, due to the simple fact the duchies and principalities no longer existed, a new religion had to be decided. The two most popular religions to choose were Orthodox Christianity, and Sayankovism. But despite which, the new religion was to be decided as Sayankovism in 49 BC. With the death of Alexander I in 45 BC, the new heir to the throne was announced to be Zakryatin Alexander Luchok.

The kingdom to lead the unification of the Lotionese was the Kingdom of Kishinev in 246 BC. Numerous conflicts had occurred between the Kingdom of Kishinev, and numerous other city states and kingdoms. With most of North Western Lotioia under their control, the king of the Kingdom of Kishinev sent a request to the other numerous kingdoms/city states of North Western Lotioia, in the Lotiongrad Conference of 1246, where talks had occurred over the unification of North Western Lotioia, and finally in 1246, the Kingdom of Kishinev and the other city states/kingdoms had agreed to unify into the Lotionese Kingdom.

Geography

The area the Lotionese Empire encompasses is largely located in Eastern Anea; The area the Empire's mainland is located in is called Lotioia. The Lotionese Empire also holds overseas possessions within the continents of Usonea, South Osea, Fusea, Verusa, and even Anea once more. The total land space of the Lotionese Empire is 1,674,402^km². The area of Lotioia also borders within the Ceres Ocean, the Gold Bay. While the area of Lotionlandia; The land the Lotionese Empire owns in Fusea, borders the Emerald Ocean. St.Alexander, the Anean possession, borders the Mitsuri Bay. The Verusan Colony; Zemlya Der Schnees, borders the Cascade Ocean. The South Osean Possession of Smotlas, borders the Emerald Ocean, similar to the Usonea Possesion; Noblinksia Islands. Within the Lotionese Empire, it contains numerous mountain formations, such as the Great Mountains (Yakuvoniak: Velikiye Gory | Великие Горы), the Utyug Mountains (Yakuvoniak: Utyug Gory | Утюг Горы), and more. Said mountains caused numerous effects upon Lotionese culture, the history of the nation, geopolitics, and separates the more northern parts of the nation from the nations from the south.

Most of the land that the Lotionese holds is due to the new Imperial Ambitions of the Lotionese Empire, and its growth to re-obtain its former colonies that the Lotionese Republic once held at peak. The Lotionese Imperial Army, the Lotionese Imperial Navy, and the Lotionese Imperial Airservice work together to succeed in that ambition. The Lotionese Empire has a wide natural base, and plentiful of resources that are largely found in the colonial parts of the nation, and the mainland.

Lotioia Lotioia is the mainland of the Lotionese. Its located within the East of Anea. Most of Lotioia is located within the Korotkiy Los'onyy Ravniny(Small Lotionese Plains), which mainly ends around the North West of Lotioia, which contains a massive forestry named the Old Okhtsk Forest. From the south is the Yakusony Plateau, which contains the Great Mountains. Lotioia contains plentiful resources, and minerals. Lotioia contains two major rivers; The Vysokiye Reki (High Rivers) which is located around New Kishinev, and Lotiongrad. And the Alexandrov Waters which is located within the west of the nation and extends into the state of Ishikisin.

Lotionlandia Lotionlandia is the possession within Fusea. Its located within the North of Fusea. Most of Lotionlandia contains a temperate seasonal climate. Most of Lotionlandia contains a massive grassland from the north and south of the nation. From the south-west has the Utyug Mountains. The south west of Lotionlandia contains numerous highlands and land-forms which are spread out across the area. The colony contains four major rivers; From the North, the Leijing Waters, which starts around Leijing, and joins the second river, which is the Tokerovisky River. Said river starts from the Utyug Mountains and ends near the third river, which is the Timoshenko River. Which starts from the east of the nation, and ends in the south of the nation, near the Grasslands. The final major river is the Kozar River, which starts from the south of the nation, and ends near the Timoshenko River.

Noblinskia Islands Noblinskia Islands are the possession within Usonea. Its located near the South West part of Usonea. It has 6 larger islands, and in most of its islands, they consist of mainly contains grasslands, mountains, and forests, which make it difficult for agriculture. There are small rivers within it, and no major rivers.

Zemlya Der Schnees Zemlya Der Schnees is a possession within Verusa. Its located within the West of Verusa. All of Zemlya Der Schnees is a taiga, and is home to a very sparse population. The area is unsuitable for agricultural with the execulision of a small area in the south of the nation which is suitable for Barley plant growth. The area largely depends on fishing or supplies from Lotionese Imperial Naval Vessels, or Lotionese Imperial Supply Planes. There is no major river.

Smotlas Smotlas is a possession within South Osea, and is located in the south of South Osea. The area has a large river named the Vershinin River that goes across within it, but its largely just a city. There are a few land marks and has a few hills and forests within it.

St.Alexander St.Alexander is the possession located in Anea. Its located in the West of Anea. St.Alexander has several rivers within it, and largely is a grasslands, and a forestry within the northern parts of the area. The area is entirely suitable for agriculture, and its population is spread out within it.

Demographics

The Demographics of the Lotionese Empire are the demographic features of the population of the Lotionese State, including population growth, ethnic composition, population density, literacy rate, education, health, economic status, and other topics.

With the recent annexations of St.Alexander, Lotionlandia, Noblinskia Islands, Smotlas, and more, the nations population has jumped significantly. With the populations mainly being found in Lotioia, St.Alexander, Lotionlandia, and Noblinskia Islands. The Lotionese population currently remains at 368 million population.

Population

54% of the population identify as Lotionese, and there's a certain chance of the percentage decreasing due to the rapid expansion of the Lotionese Empire. Additionally, there are numerous minorities within the Lotionese Empire. There are also the Yakuvoniaks, which compromise of 42% of the population, and they make a massive part of the nation, compromising most of the troops, navy, and airforce. There are other ethnicities in the Lotionese Empire, and there's a good chance of the percentage increasing.

By density, the population is primarily located near the coast, or in a few colonial possessions, more so inland. For Lotioia, most of the population belonging to the coast is mainly due from the geography, and the Novobilinsk War - Which killed around 6% of the population in the north of Lotioia, and the 2% in the south - In fact, most population accounts there have not been able to reach past the prewar population to this day. In St.Alexander, most of the population remain inland. Although its currently unknown why that's specifically the case.

By Literacy Rate, the population has an estimated 94% literacy rate, and its due to the literacy programs of the Lotionese Kingdom, and the numerous programs during the Lotionese Republic, and Lotionese Empire nowadays, which attempts to increase the percentage to at least 97% by at least 7 years.

By Education, the educational system in LE is comprised of three stages, Beginning Education, First Education, and Secondary Education. There exists an Third Education stage, but its entirely voluntary. School attendance is compulsory from age 5 to age 15. Religious schools and Private schools do exist and are guaranteed their protection by the numerous bills of the Lotionese Empire. Despite which, most schools in the Lotionese Empire are public. Additionally, public schools are entirely free, additionally with college, and university, which is mainly due to how the Lotionese view education as integral to society. Beginning Education comprises of two phases, first being social school, and the secondary being elementary school. Social schools aims for students to learn languages, and learn basic social skills, and writing and numbers. Because of its simplicity, no proper grading system exists in Social Schools, until in the last year, where writing, numbers, and speech are taught. By age 8, students are transferred to Elementary schools, where students are taught writing, arithmetic, citizenship, reading, and science. Additionally, the grading system does exist in the elementary school, and its required to get a grade higher then a 60% to pass a class, and the year. Its expected that students are by the age of 11 upon passing elementary school.

First Education comprises of one phase, but has many choices in what specific school a student would like. The typical phase most students take is middle school, but there exists alternative schools such as Labour School, Economic School, Military School, Technology School, Science School, and History School. Middle School is a "neutral" school which teaches most of what the other schools teach, but minimally.

Secondary Education comprises of two phases, such as High School, and College. Although, High School just is there if you took Middle School. Otherwise, you head into an advanced school for the alternative schools. High school for students ends with the National Exam, where if they pass, they head into college. If they fail, they are given more tries to pass the exam. What constitutes as a passing grade in the National Exam is currently getting a score higher then 30%.

College is after high school, but college is entirely voluntary, and isn't required. The Fourth Education really is just University, hence why its voluntary, and isn't required.

By Health, the Lotionese Health Care system is largely financed by the government of LE, but private health cares exist within it. The Lotionese Government spends 10% of its GDP on health care. Health care is generally free for people with chronic diseases. Life expectancy is at 76 years for men, and 82 for women. Obesity used to be an issue within the Lotionese State during the Lotionese Republic, but nowadays, the obesity rate has long decreased, following the end of the Yakuvoniak Civil War.

By Religion, the Lotionese Empire is a secular state, and freedom of religion is a right given by a series of bills from the Republic era that are still followed to this day. The church is entirely separated from the state, and public life is kept completely secular. In a study done in 2019, 43% of the Lotionese population was Orthodox Christian, with 29% being Sayankovist. 12% had no religion, and 7% were Jewish(Need to figure out its own special name for it soon), and 5% were catholic. While 3% were other religions, and 2% were Islamic.

Lotionish and Orthodox Christianity have both been the major religions in Lotioia, and her colonies, but recently, Lotionish has been on an rise, as Orthodox Christianity has been getting a decline since the civil war in Yakuvony.
