The Islamic Front (abbreviated as IF) was a rebel group based in the east of Lyoa. Its goal was to overthrow Lyoa's government and establish an Islamic state. The group frequently clashed with other groups in the region, and had ties to another Islamist movement, the Allied Republican Forces. The group was defeated by government forces in late February 2020.
