An explosion was reported aboard the coastal ferry Azade at 11:49, a ferry reported to have "hundreds aboard". Neither the number of people aboard nor the number of casualties from the explosion have been confirmed by either the press or the Bhasari government.
Explosions and gunfire in the 3th Arrondisement
Heikki Liikanen of Aitic International reported gunfire and explosions at 12:02 in the Third Arrondissement.
Explosions in the 5th Arrondisement
Ivan Kerisić of Luepola and the World reported hearing two explosions at 12:08 from the Palace of the People.
Government response
While official government casualty reports are low, the municipal government of Jayunpur has reported that it is responding to a "developing violent situation," and has officially advised the populace to stay indoors. Erik Müller of Der Globus reports that the gendarmerie of Jayunpur has established a de facto curfew across the city and has commenced counter-terror and rescue operations.
