The President of Andmark is the Head of State and Head of Government of the Republic of Andmark, they are directly elected by Universal Sufferage.
Since the office was established, replacing the previous role of Leader of the Andish Resistance or Prince of Andmark, 11 Men and 1 Woman have served as President. The first, Ísarr Hakason took over from being the Leader of the Andish Resistance and was elected unopposed in 1901. The current President is Ás Brimarsson who has been in office since 2013.
The Longest Serving President is Cecil Vavelsarson who served for 6 terms before resigning in 1963 and staying as caretaker President for another two years. The shortest serving President is Ása Reynaldsdóttir who became the Interim for 53 days following the Assassination of Sindri Hakason.
