The House of Chaudoir was a powerful noble house in south-western Vervillia, which came to power in Blayk after Queen [[Matilda II of Blayk|Mathilda II]] died with no children leaving the throne to her nephew Phillip.
Shortly after the death of [[Matilda II of Blayk|Mathilda II]] in 1723 without issue, the succession passed to her second cousin once removed [[Phillip I of Blayk|Phillip of Chaudoir]]. Phillip's position in the Vervillian nobility lead to the [[Succession Act of 1724]] which forfeit any claims to the Vervillian throne that Phillip or any of his descendants may hold or obtain.
