Pexadi I is the current reigning monarch of Bahktar. His reign began on the January 9th, 1980 after the death of his father Erza I. His coronation was held a week after his father's death according to tradition. The early months of his rule were met with political turbulence and threats of war from Tarsas, specifically, it's monarch, Diocetus I, who threatened to start a war as he felt that Pexadi I was going to destabilize the Hellenic-Bahktaric Empire with his democratic reforms which sought to please the protesting and rioting masses which threatened to overthrow the House of Asxadli throughout the course of the Bahktaric Revolution.
Nowdays, he is hailed as a positive figure in Bahktar, managing to reform the autocratic and absolute monarchy into a constitutional monarchy which prides itself as one of the most free countries in Ajax. However, there are minor voices in Bahktar who wish to remove the position of the monarch. Namely, the Bexirdrate Party which is suspected to have an armed terrorist wing, the Gods of Ozaya. The Bexirdrate Party is committed to establishing a third Bexirdrate, a Bexirdi theocracy. More moderate voices, such as the People's Republic Party advocate for the reform into a parliamentary republic, although they receive little support.
His son is the heir to the throne of Bahktar.
