Primus rex Stjärnkhrone X or "the young eagle" or "The rose prince" is an historical king that ruled for one year before he was murdered at his own wedding by his own uncle and was succeeded by his younger brother that lost the crown to the Öaherre dynasty. Despite his short rule so is Primus the tenth remembered as a great king and an excellent example of the chivalric ideal

Childhood

Not much is known about the childhood of Primus but was described as a rather spirited little child in one of the few remaining written sources when he is mentioned as a child.

Year on the throne

The year on the throne that Primus ruled was a short one that started when he arrested the duke of Vedian for high treason when he tried to usurp the throne for himself. Seeing himself unable to forgive the traitor did Primus have him executed rather than kept as an hostage as most of his advisers suggested and the king is rumoured to have said "We rule our realm justly and fairly, we will not allow criminals to live simply because it is convenient!".

However just as feared did the new Vedian duke claim the title "king of the mountains" and rose up in rebellion against the young prince on the Scanderan throne. Despite some earlier successes however so were Primus able to utterly vanquish the enemy when he managed to trick them into chasing an army into a valley where he then engaged them from both sides. Without a chance to get away did the Vedians surrender and the prince were able to secure his reign as high king of Imeriata and king of Vedian.

In all the songs and stories written about the king so is he mentioned as a great leader of men, a great administrator and a fair ruler to the commoners. Most modern Scanderan agrees that the king would have grown up to a great and fair ruler would he have been allowed to live but despite all his promise so was his life cut short.

Death

It is not entirely known why but during his wedding so were the prince poisoned by his own uncle that was executed by drowning in innanhafet. Most people suggest that his uncle, generally described as a short sighted and jealous man wished to usurp the throne for himself or be appointed regent for the kings brother. Whatever the reason was so were the uncle promptly arrested and executed for his crime while Primus Xth was burnt as a hero that had managed to hold the realm together by his virtue and great skill in battle.

Legacy

Today so is Primus the tenth remembered as a great hero and an inspiration for knights all over the federation but he is also known as the man that kept the union between Vedian and Imeriata strong and granted the dynasty the loyalty of the Vedian nobility which served the dynasty well after the fall of the Stjärnkhrone dynasty and the temporary rule of the Öaherre house.

Controversies

Despite the praise passed on Primus the tenth so are there some sources from the time of his rule that describes Primus as a shallow minded, cruel, and craven creature who's success laid in the hands of the advisers that he employed. Some sources even says that he never were present during the battles that his army fought but in generally are those are generally considered to mostly by Vedian propaganda.
