Little is known of his early life, though he was born into the Ashtreeclearing family and his father (presumably being anti-communist and probably also pro-slavery) named him Wealthprotection.

He was self-educated.

Espionage

He visited the college on a Fenwick Foundation scholarship. He claimed he wanted to be the national executioner of the Munkcestrian Republic after completing his formal education.
