Succession to the Sapphire Throne denotes those who have a claim to the throne of the Hellenic Empire. Claims are based on bloodline and legitimacy and typically follows the monarch's children, followed by his brothers and their children, then his sisters and their children. Any individual who holds a place in the succession can be disclaimed via their own personal choice or through other circumstances such as marrying a foreign monarch or pursuing a marriage outside of the reigning monarch's approval.
