Amelia III is the reigning Grand Princess of Gemma Insulam.

Born in the capital city of Christchurch to Grand Prince II and Grand Princess Isabella, as Grand Princess, Amelia is soveriegn monarch of Gemma Insulma making her the head od state.

Early Life

At the time of Amelia's birth, she was the only child of then Prince Louis and Princess Isabelle. Amelia was basptised by the Archbishop of Gemma Insulam at the private chaple in the Palace of Christchurch. As her father, was the second child of Grand Princess Alexandra, her paternal grandmother, Prince Louis was not expected to become Grand Prince and Amelia Grand Princess but the unexpected death of Prince Oscar quickly moved Prince Louis into the line of succession.

Education

From an young age, Amelia showed a great deal of interest in social justice. Throughout her time at St. Anne's School of Girls, Amelia interest in social justice manifested in her becoming involved debate club and student government. As the heir to the throne, Amelia made it clear to her peers that while she intend in be involved she would not take any executive position.

Following her time at St. Anne's, Amelia went on to study political science at the St. Andrew's University. At the time your her attendance, Amelia was the first Gemma Insulam heir to attend a university oppose to studying privatly with the nation's top educators. While at St. Andrew's the palace made a deal with media outlets to give Amelia the space to study and explore university life without the stare of the media.

Upon completeing her undergraduate degree in poltical science, Amelia went on to complete a Master of Arts in International Relations.

Family, Residence, and Title

Amelia is the only daughter and eldest child of the late Grand Prince Louis II and Grand Princess Isabella.

In 2013, Amelia married Eric Lafayette, a childhood friend, at St. Paul's Cathedral. At the time of their marriage Grand Prince Louis made Eric a peer of the realm as The Duke of Christchurch. In 2015, Amelia and Eric welcomed twins, Prince Jacob and Princess Anne.

As te reigning monarch, Amelia maintains her primary residence at Palace of Christchurch. As Grand Princess, Amelia take residence at Alcyoneum Palace for 2 months during the summer season. Additionally, Amelia has private ownership of Pulchra Hall.
