The list of rulers of Tava includes rulers of Tava with various titles. The officials appointed by Tinza used the titles of "viceroy" (Tavan: <imgur>K6DTqlA.png</imgur>; cëlon, Tinzan: བཀའ་བློན; kalön) From the Rögzön dynasty to the Lëzen dynasty, rulers usually held the title "everking" (Tavan: <imgur>DAJEpD8.png</imgur>; mophëbrel, Tinzan: གྱེལྰྤོ་མྟྷ་བྲེལ; gyel-po mtha brel). Later dynasties would each use different titles: Söban rulers holding the title "king" (Tavan: <imgur>u3Q6OY5.png</imgur>; neshöre), the short-lived Babhën rulers holding the title "great leader" (Tavan: <imgur>WvolB2e.png</imgur>; nëcita ghëde), and the Mazhön dynasty currently using the title "supreme lord" (Tavan: <imgur>mz9xuLF.png</imgur>; hëco). All rulers used the title "sovereign" (Tavan: <imgur>oZhI8Qh.png</imgur>; phuchën) to indicate their independent status among, and equality with, other East Borean monarchs.

While many other monarchs existed in and around Tava throughout its history, with full unification often being rare, this list covers only those with a legitimate claim to, and control of, the majority of Tava, or those who have traditionally been named in dynastic histories. Tavan sovereigns were known by many different names, though they are often identified by one of their names depending on their dynasty. Sometimes the same sovereign is commonly known by two or three separate names, some of them in their native language, or in prestige languages such as Literary Tuthinan or Tinzan.
