The AA-89 (Also known as the FN Minimi) is a Sieuxerrian designed light machine gun originally chambered in 7.5x40mm Sieuxerrian, however has become one of the most widely used machine guns in the world, and has been chambered in a slew of cartridges. While in service with many nations, it never saw service with its intended customer, the Sieuxerrian Army.

It is an open-bolt air cooled weapon designed to fire from disintegrating-link belt and in some models, box magazine.
