The Portcullian Army is the principle land force of the Portcullian Armed Forces. Comprised of some 2,000 active and 6,000 reserve personnel, it states its primary mission is to ensure the defense of the sovereignty of its own territory and of its allies.

Rifles/carbines

R2 FAMAS-G2-IMG 8894-white.jpg 5.7x40mm AVA Assault rifle Some 1,000 FAMAS rifles, known as the R2, were purchased in the 1980s and 1990s and were issued to the mechanized battalion and special forces. Most R2s have been removed from active service and are used mostly by military police and given to regular police in donations.
