Rory Baines-Law Whittemore is the 22nd and current President of the Free Union, and the first New Frontiers Party member to hold the office. Born in Revelstoke, Concordia, Whittemore is a graduate of Concordia Provincial University and the National Institution of Law. He worked as a community organizer in Gavenny before earning his law degree from Concordia Provincial University. He worked as a civil rights attorney and taught law at Gavenny University Law School between 1990 and 1995. Whittemore served five consecutive terms in the National Parliament between 1995 and 2005 for Revelstoke District while simultaneously acting as mayor of Revelstoke.

Whittemore was killed on 11 January 2016 in Whitehall, Susseaux, Brytene, after Al-Qaria terrorists attacked the grand opening of St. Leonard's Cathedral. Also killed were the Valdian and Carlossian ambassadors to Brytene, Daniel Robertson and Adrian Whitmore, respectively and Archbishop d'Averc of the Cathedral.
