Aeselle (Norven: Aesel), officially the Republic of Aeselle, is a small country in Southeast Astar whose territory comprises of the land surrounding the Easternmost part of Norven Bay and the Kellmuit Peninsula. The capital and largest city is Tenetelle, which is considered a primate city due to its disproportionate political and economic power.

Economy

Aeselle is a advanced economy with a high standard of living and emphasis on technological advancement. Energy

For a country of it's size, Aeselle has an extremely high level of energy consumption. The government began a 20 year plan to switch to renewable energy in 2008, designed to ease the country of it's reliance on Ostanian natural gas for energy production. Despite major controversy, many of the gas fired plants are being replaced with nuclear power.

Transport

Aeselle is a well connected nation, with a extensive series of public highways connecting every Sekray. The nation's largest road system, the CoastalNorvena Transit network,(commonly referred to as "CosNov") also contains a series of well-funded public transport networks and multiple seaports and airports.

The largest ports in Aeselle are the Port of Korpings, Port of Aeselle, and Port of Jomen.

The largest airport by far is Haleina International, located near Tenetelle, which transports more people than the next three, Woodar Beys International, Jomen Mallek International, and Kalen Honlaes International, combined

Sports

Akkaball and Soccer are the two biggest sports in Aeselle by viewership, and almost 60% of the country participate in some sort of team sports. Aeselle has hosted the Norven Games 8 times since their start in 1981, and hosted the 1964, 1991, and 2012 International Soccer Cup (ISC). The city of Tenetelle planned to host the World Games in 2006, but lost it's bid to Volpira, the capital of nearby Derrenfor.

Aeselle is home to one of the AAL's best Akkaball teams, the Jomen Chelukets, who just barely trail the Doranny Bulls in championship wins.
