The People's Republic of Abjekistan is a tiny, genial nation, renowned for its compulsory military service, frequent executions, and irreverence towards religion. The compassionate population of 8 million Abjekistanians are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.
 
The enormous, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Healthcare, and Law & Order. The average income tax rate is 56.5%, and even higher for the wealthy.
 
The developing Abjekistanian economy, worth 225 billion Puzhaks a year, is led by the Retail industry, with major contributions from Tourism, Uranium Mining, and Automobile Manufacturing. Old folks reminisce about the last time someone was acquitted of a crime, posters on 'Abjekistanian Values' advise against being proud of Abjekistan, the nation's forests are full of treasure hunters in military-grade survival gear, and the government seeks peaceful forum with terrorists. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Abjekistan's national animal is the Abjekh Steppe Eagle.

Korat is a weekly humoristic television show recounting the hectic life of Korat Belmuth, a citizen of the small city of Sirmak, located in the eastern Cheburek plains.
