The Battle of Gimli Plains (12 to 15 June 1809) was a major decisive battle during the Sandoric Wars. It was fought between the defending Jutlandish Forces under the command of William, Prince of Jutland against the attacking Aurucolian Imperial Army led by Sandor IV. The battle decided the extent of the Aurucolian invasion in Jutland and were eventually pushed back to the borders. The Battle became the first decisive failure for Sandor due to his underestimation of the smaller, but trained Jutlandish Army.
