The Lemosin-class carriers (Lemosin being Anglicized as Limousin), are a trio of aircraft carriers that are in service with the Sieuxerrian Navy. The first ship Lemosin was commissioned in 1996 with the successive ships Auvernhe and Picardie being modified into a longer and more capable design. They are the first surface-going nuclear powered warships of the Sieuxerrian Navy in service. Like all Sieuxerrian capital ships with the exception of the Painlevé-class they are named after provinces, departments, and regions in Sieuxerr, both current and former.
