The University of the Pontanore (formerly the Imperial University of Fornænda) is the largest public higher educational institution in the Caropsyne Pontanore with over 350,000 students. The main campus is located in the capital, but there are smaller campuses in each Pontanore State. Alumni of the University system consist many of the Pontanore's finest politicians, economists, and literary masters: five Premiers, sixteen current Fostana members, one-hundred-and-forty past and present ministers, and countless officials. Of the Universities' 45 colleges, its international relations school (Grand Torias) and law school (Colimares) are the best in the world. Starting with former Premier Miria Seranoda, the university system has received successive increases in its public funding each and every year.
