James "Jim" Edward Slim (born February 13, 1978), is an American politician who currently serves as the 82nd Governor of Vermont. He is the son of Anthony and Martha Slim, the founders of Maplevale Ice Cream. He is a four time Olympic gold medalist, with 3 medals at the Winter Olympics and 1 at the Summer Olympics.
