The Sun and Crescent Party (Kurdish: Partiya Tav û Heyv) is a centrist political party in Kurdistan. Developed from the conservative tradition of Kurdistan's Islamic identity,[16] the party is the largest in Kurdistan. Founded in 2001 by members of a number of existing socialist and conservative parties and, the party has won pluralities in the six most recent legislative elections, and won the recent 2018 elections.
