Robi's failure to bring victory to both North Alezia and the Alezian Union plummeted his national popularity slightly due to the disappointment from the Alezian public. Andi Robi Idris Novogrody OAA-NA , OAA-AU sometimes known as ROBINOV, ARIN , or just Robi is an Alezian singer-songwriter, actor, dubber, and private criminal investigator. He was born in Yakovskut, Pyalivostok, North Alezia (which nowadays is a region of the Alezian Union) in 30th of January 1990. He started performing from age five. He started releasing his first children's song album in 1998 called "Теперь это более чем круглый" ("Now it's more than round" in Russian) which was met with mediocre ratings. He continued to release songs until he reached his peak of his career as a child when he participated in the "Alezian Eid-Al-Fitr Religious Musical Event" representing Pyalivostok in Zafizamarrah in 1999, where he sang the popular religious song at the time called "Моя молитва" (My Prayer in Russian).

He became known in Pyalivostok after he participated in the Pyalivostokian Regional Final for AleziRadio Festival of Songs 2002, being the youngest participant in the history of the Regional Final. He earned 5th place, making him unable to represent Pyalivostok in that event. After that failed attempt, he tried again in 2009 and won the Regional Final and earned 2nd place in the 2009 AleziRadio Festival of Songs.

After that, Robi quit singing to start his career as a detective for the Alezian Police Force from 2011 to 2015, even having the chance to be exchanged to Antahbrantahstan for that duration. His career didn't last long as he got discharged due to unknown reasons until a hearing case in Alezian High Court happened in 2017 between him (with help by the entire nation) and the Chief of the Metropolitan Police of Zafizamarrah in a case called "Robi v. Nahrumaddin" which Robi won easily added with a corruption case being revealed that his chief has done at that time which Robi himself accidentally witnessed.

Robi relaunched his music career after his discharge from the police force, and his popularity immediately shot up after that. When his song "Andi" was released in 2017, the song immediately earned a Platinum from the AleziRadio Charts. After that, he released even more popular songs, even start being known (although not in a massive amount) internationally, especially with "Andi" being a best-seller in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.

"Andi"'s popularity gave him the title of the Artistic Order of North Alezia (which in 2021 was added with the Artistic Order of the Alezian Union), and make him popular in South-East Asia, especially in Buginese-speaking regions. He also won six Golden Lamp awards and nominated 16 times for various works that he has done.

Lately in 2021, Robi started getting popularity outside of his usual clientele in the Alezian Isles and South-East Asia. He started being involved in international competitions such as the Worldvision Song Contest and the World Hit Festival as a composer numerous times, where all of his composition end up bring the top 10 for North Alezia and the Alezian Union, one song called "Hilang In Zafi" is considered as his best composition due to it getting 2nd place with Halimah Sa'adinova singing it in WHF 55.

Robi himself represented the Alezian Union in its first entry as a unified country with the song "Faraway Land" and earned third place in the 59th Edition of the World Hit Festival in Orongumila, Achaean Republic. Due to this, his international reputation skyrocketed especially in the ABEN Union, specifically Britonisea.

Life and Career

Early Life and Early Career (1990-1999)

Robi was born in 30th of January 1990 in Yakovskut, Pyalivostok, North Alezia to a Russian-Alezian Politican and the Premier of North Alezia at the time Mukhlis Krasnaya Novogrody, and a Buginese-Alezian Architect who designed the Rinra Ringways in Metropolitan Zafizamarrah Andi Rinra Manriattang. While both parents have no experience in performing, both parents are known for being good singers, especially Mukhlis who inherited his singing abilities from his father, Aziz Goridagyev Novogrody, who was and still is, considered as North Alezia's best singer of all time where he won the AleziRadio Festival of Songs three times.

Robi himself got his singing talent found when his parents noticed him singing to calm his twin sister down (Andi Ainii Irqimaza Novogrody, fellow songwriter and singer) when she fell down off her bike when they were four (1994). Since then, Robi earned singing lessons and learned how to play the violin and the keyboard which he used to have difficulties, only to master it when he's 18.

In 1998 after Mukhlis stepped down from the position as premier, Robi released his first ever album which is a children song album called "Жизнь идет по кругу" which was received moderately well by the Pyalivostokian Public. In 1999 Robi got selected to represent Pyalivostok in the annual non-competitive Eid-Al-Fitr Children Religious Song Festival, where Robi sung "Моя звезда".

First Portion of Popularity (2000-2009)

In 2000, Robi participated in the Alezian Children's Song Competition where he sang and composed his first ever song called "Просто кто я" (Just Who I Am in the English version). He won the competition and earned a chance to dub the Russian version of the fictional character Hamisyan in the AleziRadio Programme Two Fictional Program called "Hamisyan and his Family".

In 2002, Robi participated in the preselection for Pyalivostok for the 2002 AleziRadio Festival of Songs, being the youngest competitor at the time being only 12. He composed and sang the song "Заставь меня" (Make Me) which gave him 5th place, which failed to qualify him for the National Festival.

However, his talents at this point are starting being accepted and applauded that AleziRadio allowed him to record and release a song under AleziRadio called "Величие" (Greatness). When the song was released in arico.net, the song become the 3rd fastest growing content in clicks, making him internet famous.

Robi continued to release songs, although less frequent and without AleziRadio's assistance. In this era he started releasing songs in English such as "Good Morning Alezia", "Who Knows What'll Happen?", "Alola-lola", "Five Miles", and "Cents".

When "Cents" was released, Robi was also accepted into the prestigious University of Alezia in Metropolitan Zafizamarrah in the degree of Criminal Science Studies. While he was away, he didn't realize that "Cents" for the first time entered the Alezian Charts, entering and peaking at 82nd and staying in the charts for 3 weeks.

While studying in the University, Robi started to become less active in the Alezian music scene. Back then, Robi was still an internet name and not a household icon. However, at that time, Robi did release a few rap songs between 2007 to 2009 under the name of "ROBINOV" such as "That Ain't What I'm Worth", "Mister Glenn Hauberd", "Izvidiminya", and "Fifth Street". However, all of his rap songs failed to gather attention with the exception of "Traffic Jam" which criticized Zafizamarrah's traffic jams at the time. The song itself received 16 million clicks which was one of the most clicked songs at the site at the time.

In 2009, Robi tried again in the Preselection for Pyalivostok for the 2009 AleziRadio Festival of Songs, with the song he once again composed and wrote called "Смотри, куда тебя ведет любовь" (Look where Love's Bringing You) and earned second, qualifying him to the National Festival. In ARFOS Robi earned 2nd place which elevated his career. The song alone entered the Alezian Charts, entering and peaking at 66th and staying in the charts for 7 weeks.

Inactivity and Detective Career (2010-2015)

In 2010, Robi graduated from University of Alezia with a Summa Cumlaude in Criminal Science Studies. This is surprising due to the fact that Robi only studied in UoA for three years. This is then considered as a massive feat at the time until Nafizi Harusmanyan defeated Robi's record the year after where he graduated after two years and five months.

Immediately, Robi got hired as Public Detective for the Pyalivostokian Metropolitan Police Force, and Robi announced in his arico.net account that he's "staying out of songwriting for now". Robi remained inactive in the music scene except when Robi released a pop song in 2012 called "I Bet" which received positive acclaim. Other than that, Robi only performing in weddings and Police Force's singing competition, hiding in secret even though many people would still recognize him anyway.

Robi was known in the Police Force for solving many criminal cases, and due to it, Robi was transferred to Zafizamarrah in 2012. Five months after that, Robi got exchanged to Oreo City in Antahbrantahstan for an observation study. When Robi returned home five months later, he was appointed as 2nd Vice-Chief of the Detective Department.

However, in March 2015, Robi accidentally witnessed the city's Chief of Police Nahrumaddin Ayran committing acts of corruption. Nahrumaddin found out and tried to bribe Robi with shush money in June 2015. However, when Robi refused, Nahrumaddin immediately unceremonially fired Robi for "negligence in work". The police force and the Internet Public protested about this decision, some even advised Robi to sue the chief straight to the High Court of North Alezia. However, Robi refused saying that he still needs to gather proof.

Return to Music, Start of Acting and "Andi" (2015-2017)

After his discharge from the Police Force, Robi announced in his arico.net account that he's going to start releasing music frequently again, even announcing that he might participate again in the AleziRadio Festival of Songs.

In 2015, Robi released a song called "Faster and Slower" which peaked 33rd in the Alezian Charts for 10 weeks. The internet public applauded the song, even giving Robi his first award as "The Best Comeback" in the Alezian Internet Awards. In that award event, Robi has been nominated numerous times, but only winning an award at this time. The

Robi started releasing songs more actively, sometimes even using his "ROBINOV" alias on his songs he released during this time such as "Screaming Little Louder", "Oreo", "Back When I'm Yours", "Let It All Out", and much more.

Robi also restarted his dubbing career, dubbing the Alezian Russian version of Rimana for the Alezian Animated Film, La Rimana Las Paisaises which was released in 2018.

During this time, Robi also did his first acting work, acting as Mr. Halfenstead Jr. in an ABA exclusive family comedy drama called "The Halfenstead House", where he earned an award for the best male actor for a non-main character.

In August 2016, Robi posted a pitch black picture on his arico.net account. This created speculation among the Alezian public, some speculated that Robi's under a state of mourning, Robi's closing his arico.net account, or other things. However, a software engineer finds out that by lighting up the picture immensely and reassembling it, it resulted in a picture of a collection of Lontara which if assembled would make out the word "ANDI". This created a speculation of either Robi making a song in Buginese or Robi embracing his Buginese culture or Robi throwing his Russian cultural heritage behind.

Around this time as well Robi married Irasati Na'imatullah in a private marriage in 12th of August 2016, while the reception was limited to family members and friends and media people.

Eventually in January 2017, Robi confirmed that "ANDI" is the title of the next song he's working on, and that it'll be sung in the combination of English, Russian, and Buginese. When Robi released "ANDI" in 16th of March 2017 in both arico.net and Youtube, the song immediately got popular and accumulated around 274 million views on its first day on both sites, making this Robi's best song and elevated Robi to National Stardom added with getting his name known in the Buginese community around the world especially in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. "ANDI" shot to number 1 in the Alezian Charts and stayed on the chart for 20 weeks.

Around this time, Robi earned appreciation from the Indonesian Provincial Government of South Sulawesi and more specifically, the Regency of Bone due to Robi "Revitalizing the Buginese Music Industry to an entirely new level" At this point, Robi also earned the Order of Artistic Appreciation of North Alezia.

National Stardom, Move to Tel Hadiv, Start of a Family, and Robi v. Nahrumaddin (2017-2020)

After "ANDI"'s success, Robi created headlines once again, however this time, it's due to him announcing that he's ready to bring his old chief Nahrumaddin to the High Court of Alezia as he has gathered enough evidence. Nahrumaddin accused Robi of using his popularity as ground to kick him out of the police force and also accused him of evidence forging. Almost all of the Alezian public backed Robi in the lawsuit.

After five days of court proceeding and evidence showings from 10th to 14th of April 2017, Nahrumaddin was declared guilty of Corruption, Misuse of Working Position, Mistreatment of Workers, Attempts of Excessively Censoring Someone, Falsely Accusing Someone of Evidence Forging, and Falsely Misplacing Someone out of Work, and was given a life sentence in jail.

After the lawsuit, Robi released a song called "Justice" which once again entered the Alezian Charts, peaking at 3rd and stayed in the chart for 5 weeks.

After the lawsuit and marriage, Robi started moving out of singles and released Albums such as "Love", "Say Who?", "Te Amo", "Great Simplicity", and "Love Can Go (censored) Itself". All of them entered Alezian Charts with "Love Can Go (censored) Itself" being the best selling in his modern discography, peaking at number 1 in 2018 and stayed in the Charts for 6 weeks.

In 15th of June 2017, Robi and Irasati announced their first child with the name of Andi Fu'adillah Na'imatullah Novogrody where his name joined the two's surnames. Around that time, Robi released a song called "For Fu'ad" which while failed to enter top 10 in the Alezian Charts, it did enter 27th and stayed for 2 weeks.

After he's done with his paternal break, he returned and remade some of the songs that he made but never released before, such as "You Make My Heart Round and Round", "Again", and "Breaking Point", all surprisingly made it to the Alezian charts.

Around this time, Robi moved to Tel Hadiv with his family due to working conditions requiring him to be there more than in Zafizamarrah, and shortly after in 23rd of May 2018, Robi and Irasati once again announced their second child with the name of Andi Ishanatullah Na'imatullah Novogrody.

International Reputation, Worldvision, World Hit Festival, and "Oh, My Alezia" (2020-present)

Around May 2020, ABA confirmed that the country of North Alezia will debut for the 82nd edition of the Worldvision Song Contest in Tiferet, Ertzei Kishim. It was initially rumoured that Robi was supposed to debut for the country, however, Robi denied the rumour, but confirming that he'll compete for the spot for the 83rd Worldvision Song Contest.

After Imara Syafani's 17th place entry, ABA held a nationwide competition called Alezimania. At that time, Robi was predicted to win easily. However, Samara and Izdar won over Robi after a vote by international juries favored them over him. While Robi took it nicely since he would go to debut in World Hit Festival anyway due to him getting second allowing him to lock the spot, Lady Alyoub who got last immediately attacked Robi in the venue, breaking Robi's nose forcing him to be hospitalized and miss out on the 52nd World Hit Festival with the spot taken by Rahmat Zahulafi-Yamaqzul, who end up earning sixth.

Even though Robi never performed in Worldvision Song Contest, he has composed the Alezian entry together with Izdar Noam-Khaled for the 86th Worldvision Song Contest. The song ended up earning 8th place, bringing North Alezia back into the game after two previous non top-10 entries.

However, Robi's success is more visible in the World Hit Festival. During nearly the same time as the 86th Worldvision Song Contest, the 55th World Hit Festival took place. Robi also composed the Alezian entry for the competition with Halimah Sa'adinova performing "Hilang Di Zafi", which gave North Alezia second place.

After that, Robi continued to compose songs for the World Hit Festival. After a break in World Hit Festival 56, Robi wrote a song which his own sister (Andi Ainii Irqimaza Novogrody) performed called "Kau, Yang Terbaik" for the 57th World Hit Festival in Amiens, Normandy and Picardy. Alezians initially thought that the song would win easily, however, the song failed to win, having to settle in 7th place.

After that, Robi tried again, composing for the Alezian entry in World Hit Festival 58 held in Le Havre, Normandy and Picardy called "Atas Nama Cinta" which would be performed by Aminah Al-Laila. The song itself earned 7th place.

Robi then once again tried again. This time, he sung his own entry called "Faraway Land" for the 59th World Hit Festival in Orongumila, Achaean Republic representing the newly reunified Alezian Union. Initially, Alezians had high confidence in Robi and the possibility of Robi winning the competition for the Alezian Union for the first time. However, Robi had to settle in 3rd place.

Robi's failure to bring victory to both North Alezia and the Alezian Union plummeted his national popularity slightly due to the disappointment from the Alezian public. After his 3rd place on the 59th World Hit Festival, Robi lost 1,000 followers on his ARICO.net account in a day, which is his lowest follower growth of all time, although the next day, he earned an addition of 12,393 followers. Due to this, Robi announced that he would rest from World Hit Festival in order to research "what the world REALLY wanted, and to introspect on what to do next", and that he "might jump ship to Worldvision, or rest to play and teach my two kids and also work on my own music".

However, while his national stardom decreased slightly, Robi enjoyed newfound popularity in countries such as Kalosia, Achaean Republic, Malta Comino Gozo, Carrelie, Waisnor, and ABEN Countries. Robi received comments from Britonish internet community saying that Robi has "beautiful lips". Robi responded by saying that their "attraction to his lips is appreciated."

At this time, during the reunification, the Union of Alezian Musicians (UAlM) called on Robi to compose the national anthem for the newly reunified Alezian Union. He and Robert Sweerteejk, Adam Kharadashvili, and Navila Hessonite Dadon composed the anthem which would have its lyrics written by Idresh Noam-Khaled, Henriquez Van Tien, Makala Heanashvili, Henriquez Dalavi Salem, and Adela Al Maltiyyah. The title would end up be "Oh, My Alezia".

The anthem ended up peaking in the Alezian charts for 5 weeks. The song itself was played during the Alezian Reunification Ceremony in the National Stadium in Metropolitan Zafizamarrah, North Alezia.

Around this time, Robi released albums such as "Wake Up", "I Wanna Be", "Addiction", and "Creativity > Math", all of them explored on Robi's much more daring side, even with the song "Super B(censored)" peaking in the Alezian Charts from July 2021 for 3 weeks.
