Weapons (Chinese: 武器 Wǔqì) are items that characters can equip, giving them a higher damage output than they would've without it. Weapons are divided by type, and only characters proficient in the use of a weapon's type can use it. For example, only a character with knife proficiency can use knives. This is a balancing measure to prevent a single character from hoarding the best weapons the party finds, regardless of the intended playstyle for said character. Below is a list of weapons by their type.
Knives
Line-blades
Line-blades are essentially modified ballistic knives where the blade can be launched like one, but with a line connecting the blade and the hilt, akin to a harpoon. They are unique weapons only available in the Instinct and Ingenuity campaign and it's sequel. They are special weapons with two distinct modes; a Blade mode, where it acts as a knife, and a Line mode, where it has the characteristics of a whip and knife. Like knives, they deal blade damage.
Line-blades are also unique in that they have use outside of combat; they can he used as makeshift grappling hooks, or restraints, among others.
Karma is the only character proficient in Line-blades.
