It covers an area of 207,411 square kilometres (80,081 sq mi) and has a population of more than 32.7 million people. Historically Coventry was the Christian French-speaking part of Andalusica, a Muslim empire. From the  middle ages to the 17th century Coventry was a prosperous commerical region of the Andalusic Empire, until in 1610 when the Coventrians declared independence from the Andalusic Emperor. Following the Coventrian Revolution, Coventry emerged as an independent state under the Porter dynasty.
