Panzer Kōkō Sensō (戦車高校戦争 Panzer High School War) is an Aomorinese four-panel manga series by Kiyoshi Saito. It was first serialized in May 19, 2010. An anime adoption was made and first aired on July 24, 2012. A second season is currently being aired from September 17, 2017. Both the manga and anime are set in Aomori and features numerous high school universities having a sport of tank warfare or Sensha-dō, which is a national sport in the United Kingdom and Austrakiba. It features numerous Great War-era vehicles.

Grouper Team
Consists of mostly the student council members. They are the main protagonists. They pilot a Cromwell tank and later on, upgrading it with a longer QF 75mm gun.

Saber Team
Consists of mostly the alumnus of the student council. Despite not being protagonists, they play a big roll in the series. They pilot a Lucian Kuiper Tank. In the film however, during a tank battle with Moskova University, one of the IS tanks loaded HEAT (which is against the rules of Sensha-do) and fired on Saber Team's tank, hitting the ammo rack and instantly killing them as the turret blew off the tank. The team's members are the only characters who are known deceased.
