1820 Revolution (Solevant)
The Land Force (Merovingian: Force terre) is the ground warfare branch of the Solevanti Defense Forces. It is the largest and oldest branch of the defense forces. The land force was formed out of the mix of Sieuxerrian Colonial Marines and militia regiments, origionally known as the Solevanti Army (Armée Solevanti). It would be known as this until the 2nd Solevanti-Paganese War when after the annexation of Paganese Kingdom when it would be called the Grand Army of the Republic (Grande armée de la république) and would be known as this until after the end of the Pan-Septentrion War in 1948.
The Land Force is a branch of the Solevanti Defense Forces which is organized by the State Operations Department which is headed by the Councillor-General of Defense and the Defense Council with the commander-in-chief being the Presdient of Solevant.
