Scalizagastian Interest, also known as the National Interest Group of Scalizgasti, was an internal faction of the National Party of Scalizagasti active in the late 1960s to 1970s. In 1981, the faction was forcibly expelled from the National Party whereupon it created an independent political party that contested the 1982 and 1985 elections. It advocated for the adoption of far-right, socially conservative, and nationalist policies within the National Party, strongly opposing moderates in the party like future prime minister Franklin Khanna. Its name references a speech given by controversial National MP Julius Ledbither who rallied against "internationalist and socialist action threatening the interest of proper Scalizagastians."
