The National Flag of Hoterallia is a rectangular banner splitting into two, one has a yellow background and bear the Imperial Seal (A crimson-red circle surrounded by a phoenix) in the top left corner, the other consists of ten separate horizontal stripes of blue (top and bottom) alternating with red. This flag is officially called Fushichō no Hata (不死鳥の旗, the "flag of immortal phoenix"), but is more commonly known in Hoterallia and all over the world as Fumetsu no Fenikkusu (不滅のフェニックス, the "Immortal Phoenix"). It embodies the country's sobriquet: Land of the Southern Phoenix.

The flag is a combination of two different flag, the Eastern Region's flag and the Western Region's flag, the combination symbolises the reunified state after the Second Reunification War. The top left corner symbolises the traditional East and the country's origin, while the the bottom right corner symbolises the fast growing West and the region's 10 provinces.
