The Generational Warriors Promotion (GWP) is a mixed martial arts promotion company based in Victoria, Timeria. The promotion was founded in 1985 in Victoria, Timeria out of the Warrior Martial Arts gym. The owner and 2 fighters began promoting fights in the gym and the events quickly grew in size and competitiveness. The promotion was later acquired by Vizzion in 1991 following GWP Infinity in which the event sold out the Impulse Arena with a crowd of 5,000. The event was the first held outside of Victoria and considered to be a trial run for larger events.
