Kaoro, officially the Federal State of Kaoro (usually called Kaorŝtato or Kaoro State to avoid confusion with the country) is one of the 14 Federal States of Kaoro, bordering Granada, Verde, Coasti, and almost bordering Manegua. It holds the federal capital and most populated city nationwide of Kaoro City. The State government is held in Urbia. Kaoro State is the most populated state in all of Kaoro, having 10.4 millon people (45% of the national population of 22.9 million). Kaoro City itself has around 7.4 million people. Due to the close relations between the city and the rest of the state, Kaoro State is sometimes considered a metropolition area of Kaoro City.
Despite the State's official languages being English and Kaoroan, Kaoro City is dominated by English speakers, with the largest Kaoroan-speaking city being Urbia with about 700,000 speakers.
